Consider Invisalign to get the beautiful straight teeth you’ve always wanted – without braces!  A complimentary consultation with Dr. Walde can help determine if Invisalign is right for you.

What is Invisalign?
Invisalign uses a series of invisible (clear), removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you’re wearing.  So, you can smile more during treatment as well as after.  Invisalign is made with 3-D computer imaging technology and has been proven effective.  Recent advances have made Invisalign available to treat more complicated cases.

Why would I want Invisalign?
Because the aligners are clear no one will see them.  They are also removable so it is easier to take care of your teeth because you don’t have to brush and floss around the typical fixed braces.  Also, because they are removable, your diet is not restricted.  So you can eat what you want without worrying about breaking your braces or getting something stuck to them. They are also comfortable, with no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment.  And no metal and wires usually means you spend less time in your doctor's office getting adjustments. Invisalign also allows you to view your own virtual treatment plan when you start so you can see how your straight teeth will look when your treatment is complete.

How does Invisalign work?
Dr. Walde will prescribe a treatment plan that is sent to Invisalign (Align Technology).  Invisalign will provide a series of aligners that are each worn for two weeks.  They are removed only for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position Dr. Walde has prescribed.  You’re visits will vary from 4 to 10 weeks and can take from 6 months to 2 years or more depending on the difficulty of the treatment required.
